"Corporate Rock Stills Sucks", "From Cradle To Grave", etc.

...mantras generations held to and fought for and against.  It's a scary world out there for the filmmaker, editor, director, graphic artist, etc.  Our business is entertainment...and it's a fickle one: excitement, profit, loss, gloom-and-doom, etc.

As things begin to change around you, will you try to find the "Easy" button, or risk security and comfort for experience and opportunity?   Do you truly grow creatively, professionally, and emotionally when you know that you are completely secure and you do not have to risk anything?  Those who follow seek security, while those who are followed truly create and make a difference.

Will you simply accept what is provided for you, or will you provide for yourself?  Corporate rock still sucks because no institution should tell me what quality is and not allow me to judge it.  I'm not interested in anything that provides for me from cradle to grave (or let's say an easy path from college to job) because it's not my accomplishment.

Long Live The Rebellion.
